Conservatory Roof Conversions & Warm Roofs
Nobody sits in a polycarbonate conservatory in January, and nobody sits in one in July either. A warm roof turns that space back into a room you actually use.
What conservatory roof conversions work involves
We take off the old glass or polycarbonate, check and strengthen the existing frame where needed, then build a lightweight insulated roof finished with tiles or slate-effect sheets outside and a plastered, skimmed ceiling inside. Roof windows or spotlights can be built in so you do not lose the light.
The difference is immediate: no more drumming rain, far less glare, and a room that holds its heat instead of bleeding it through the roof. Most conversions are done in a few days with the room usable again quickly.

Common questions about Conservatory Roof Conversions
Will my existing conservatory frame take a tiled roof?
Usually yes, these systems are designed to be light. We check the frames and base first and will tell you if strengthening is needed.
Do I need building regulations approval?
Converting a conservatory roof can fall under building control. We will talk you through what applies to your build before work starts.
Often done at the same time
- Roofing & Repairs
Most roof problems are small and cheap if you catch them early. A slipped tile or a failed flashing will not fix itself, and by the time it shows on a ceiling you are also paying for plaster.
- Joinery & Carpentry
The joinery side is where the business started. If it is made of timber and it needs making, hanging, fitting or repairing, it is work we are happy to look at.
- Guttering & Downpipes
A gutter only has one job: get water off the roof and away from the wall. Most of the damp patches we get called out to start with a joint that has dropped or a downpipe running straight onto brickwork.
